Monday I started my 30 day challenge on the wii easports active. Today will be day 4, as you do 2 days on and then a rest day. After spending last week doing different routines, the first couple days have been kind of easy. Today has one of the killers on the routine list though....squat jumps! I have had a lot more endurance to do other things now since losing weight. I have been able to jump on the trampoline and not get out of breath. On Wednesday I spent about 3 hours doing some heavy yard work, pulling weeds, raking and weedeating. I probably wouldnt have lasted more than an hour before. So I really feel like I am shaping up.
Resisting late night snacking is still a struggle. I will do really well and then give in. Fortunatly the giving in isnt as often as it used to be. I pretty much realize I just cant get bored and watch tv because that is typically when I snack ...and make sure to have good snacks in the house and keep the bad stuff out!
As for how I am doing this week. Well last week on Friday I was at 194 and had lost 3lbs...Then by Monday I was up to 196 because of a crappy weekend of snacking! I did all my exercises this week, and ate well, and tons of extra stuff...so I have managed to get down to 192! So I am only 7lbs away from my goal of 185 by July4th!
I really recommend the easports active for the wii, for a great work out! If you are using the active and use twitter...use #easactive and tweet away! Otherwise come join the Wiimommies and fitness fridays/forum.
Wow you are doing so great! Keep up the work! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope to get myself doing those squats soon but honestly they make me so I can not walk the rest of the day and with two in diapers - not walking is not an option ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Brandy
Colleen- Awesome!!! You will be sure to make that goal, probably even early. Way to Go!!!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like you might just reach your July 4th goal early - WooHoo!!
Have a great weekend - and just say no to bad snacks! LOL! :)
You constantly impress me. You are absolutely going to accomplish your goal by July 4th! The rate you're going, you'll pass it!
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment, and glad I am not the only one who felt that some were easier then others ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats! You seem very focused & committed! I wish you the best of luck. Woooohooo you're so close to your goal!
ReplyDeleteSquat jumps, yow! lol I haven't gotten to them yet (I'm on Day 2), but I did try the squat and hold exercise and that was killer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog. Kudos on the on all the progress you already made--it's easy for me to be excited one week in, I reckon much harder for you to keep up the motivation week after week and month after month. Your July 4th goal sounds realistic... good luck! :)
