The Amazing Non-diet for Emotional Eaters!

I am an emotional eater!  So I jumped on the offer to review 3 Meal Magic.  I have been overweight all my adult life, and even as a teen.  I have always been kind of quiet and keep my emotions to myself often.  After listening to the 3 Meal Magic audio I really realized this and realized I need to address my feelings, and not hide them with trying to make myself happy with eating.  I am not saying I am an unhappy person, as I am not.  Yeah there are times I am unhappy and want to keep to myself more.  Other times I am just tired.  I have noticed that I do eat more during these times.  Most of the time it isnt on purpose either.  I will say to myself not to eat, but I do it anyways.  I just dont feel satisfied with what I eat. 

This past year I have actually lost 43 pounds, with exercising and cutting my calories.  I know that eating smaller meals works...but can it last?  Not for me.  The last couple months I have actually gained weight and now am only at a 38 pound loss.  Why?  Because I was binge eating.  I would follow the 6 small meals rule, and try to eat to keep my metabolism going, but this backfired on me.  I would eat, and not be satisfied and would eat more! 


So today listening to 3 Meal Magic,recorded by Tricia from Heal Your Hunger  I heard how we should limit ourselves to eating just 3 meals a day.  We should care about ourselves, and show it through our eating.  Will this lead to me feeling better, better about myself, and being healthier?  I dont know, but it is worth the try.  Obviously the smaller meals concept isnt for me, as I just want more.  Now can I get my mind set to stick with just the 3 meals.  The 3 Meal Magic CD doesnt give you any specific diet to follow.  It seemed like a therapy session.  With a nice calm voice Tricia talks about emotional eating, trying to care for yourself and the benefits of just eating 3 meals a day.  Why buy it?  Like I said, it feels like therapy.  She isnt nagging you about dieting, she isnt forcing you to exercise, she is just talking to you.  She wants you to open up to her and discuss your issues with her, email her or send a tweet.  I know I need support, I know I need something else, otherwise I am going to yo yo again..So I am giving it a try!  So watch my fitness friday posts to find out if this works for me.  I will post and let my readers know if I feel like I am changing in any ways following the 3 Meals a day concept.  In response to this I should feel better about myself and should understand if I am actually hungry or am being emotional.  I should be able to eventually be satisfied with my meals and eat til Im no longer hungry and not stuff myself.  All this is worth the try!
