Are you looking for a great alternative to milk? With only 60 calories per serving you could be trying the new Silk Pure Almond. Silk Pure Almond come in original flavor and vanilla(90 calories per serving). It has as much calcium and Vit. D as milk, and no cholesteral or saturated fat! It is an excellent source of antioxidants. It is 100% free of lactose, soy or dairy.
I was able to try Silk Pure Almond in its regular flavor. This is a smooth drink, a little thicker than regular milk and sweeter tasting. I thought is was great for adding to cereal in the morning. I liked that it gave my cereal a little sweeter taste with out having to add sugar to my cereal...and less calories than milk. I do not drink coffee, but can really see it being a great taste for those that like sweetener/creamers in their coffees and teas. I think this would be a great healthy alternative to the higher calories in milk (which for the 1% I use is almost double the calories than the Silk Pure Almond). Also the fact that it is a little sweeter saves on calories of adding sugar to your cereals or drinks also.
You can find more information and recipes at http://www.silkpurealmond.com/
